Ayrıca ps dosyalarını görebilmek için (http://pages.cs.wisc.edu/~ghost/index.htm);

Postscript viewer (ghosgscript) :gs704w32.exe (veya üstü)

     gsv42w32.exe (veya üstü)

2-) gs704w32.exe ve gsv42w32.exe’yi kur.

3-) GMT_exe.zip’i c:\’nin altına aç. Ardından bütün GMT_ ile başlayan dosyaları c:\’nin altına aç. Overwrite yapmak isterse “Yes to All”u seç. Oluşması gereken dosya yapısı:

c:\gmt\bin\

c:\gmt\examples\

c:\gmt\lib\

c:\gmt\share\

c:\gmt\tutorial\

c:\gmt\www\

4-) gawk303x.zip’i c:\’nin altına aç. Oluşması gereken dosya yapısı:

c:\gnu\bin

c:\gnu\lib

c:\gnu\man

5-) C:\’nin altında netcdf dizinini oluştur. netcdf-3.5.0.win32bin.zip’i bunun altına aç. Oluşması gereken dosya yapısı:

c:\netcdf\bin\

c:\netcdf\include\

c:\netcdf\lib\

6-) c:\gmt\src\gmtenv.bat dosyasını c:\gmt’nin içine kopyala.

7-) c:\gmt\share\gmt.conf dosyasını text editörde aç ve ilk iki harfi SI olarak değiştir ve kaydet.

8-) c:\gnu\bin\gawk-djg.exe’yi to c:\gmt’nin içine kaydet.

9-) c:\netcdf\bin\netcdf.dll dosyasını, c:\netcdf ve c:\netcdf\lib dizinlerinin içine kaydet.

Kontrol

MS-DOS command prompt’u çalıştır. Gmt dizininin içine gir.

c:\gmt>gmtenv yaz.ve enter (GMT environment ayarlanmış oluyor.)

GMT ECHO OFF

GMT 3.4.5 Environment initialized

Ekranda bu mesajı alacaksın.

c:\gmt>pscoast yaz ve enter. Pscoast komutunun ilgili option’ları gelecek ekrana.

gmt scriptler ile cmd'den ps dosyası oluşturup, bu dosyaları gsview ile görüntüleyebilirsin.
